Cup, is a small bowl shaped drinking vessel with a handle on one side, to curve (ones hands) into the shape of a cup. The first cup ever made, a cast of my cupped hands made in clay, an action to contain, the first container. Cup is a universal metaphor for food/sustenance that transcends language and nationality. Cup, is a word that links human, earth and ceramic.
